Our new HyFive CITY is perfect for families, carsharing users, rental car users, e.g., for short city trips or taxi rides. It is the first safe, foldable, and ultra-light child car seat for daily use, which can be quickly assembled and installed in any car. A purely rear-facing child car seat for every situation: everyday use, cargo bike, second car, carpooling, and holidays by bus, train, or plane. All our products can be used worldwide for holidays due to their certification. Our improved, sleek City Explorer features the following characteristics:

A fully charged pump is enough for two inflations. For further inflations, we recommend using a power bank or the 12V car cable. The pump contains batteries and must therefore be transported in your carry-on luggage. The energy capacity is 7.2 Wh (0.5 A × 15 V).
Aircraft approval only applies to takeoff and landing; there are no fixed regulations during stable flight.
When traveling by air, please always ensure that the crew on board can work as undisturbed as possible; they always have the final word on board. So even with approval, they can prohibit its use. In that case, simply stow the seat under the front seat and only start using it once the plane is in the air, ideally in coordination with the crew.
